Moonshot Voyage: Play-to-Earn Blockchain Shooter Joins Enjin

We are excited to welcome Moonshot Voyage as the newest member of the Enjin Adopter Program!

Developed by the SafeMoon Inu team, Moonshot Voyage is among the first of the meme token projects, with in-house developers creating a gaming experience that's both fun and rewarding for players.

The free-to-play, play-to-earn (P2E) top-down shooter game is using Enjin to breathe utility into its SafeMoon Inu (SMI) token, allowing players to earn non-fungible token (NFT) characters, weapons, and other tokenized in-game items. The more SMI a player holds in their Enjin Wallet, the better their chances are to earn rare NFTs in-game.

Moonshot Voyage is the first blockchain game on SMI Play, an online gaming platform that lets users play-to-earn cryptocurrency and blockchain items.

The game enters Alpha/Beta testing in Q4 2021, and players can sign up for closed alpha testing this month. Early access launch of Moonshot Voyage is slated for early 2022.

Whether you're hovering on the asteroid belt or heading full-throttle on an elliptical orbit, this game transforms you into a space bounty hunter on an inter-galactic voyage, fighting aliens, ghosts, and other deadly creatures along your journey.

The goal? Locate the legendary spaceship, the Moonshot.

The Moonshot Voyage team will utilize Enjin's zero-fee JumpNet blockchain to mint NFTs, while taking advantage of the broader product ecosystem to make their integration seamless, such as the Wallet Daemon, a tool that automates transaction request authorizations, and the Enjin Marketplace, a digital NFT trading hub.

In Moonshot Voyage, players accrue value by unlocking NFTs in the form of weapons, characters, and spaceship decorations, while rare NFT assets will be used to clear the more challenging levels. Tokens can be bought on the marketplace and earned in-game, with rarer rewards dropped to holders of the SMI token.

Each day, "Raid" levels will also give players the chance to earn a free NFT item, which can be used within the game, sold on the open marketplace, or melted (destroyed) in return for its Enjin Coin (ENJ) cryptocurrency backing.
