From October 1 to 15, Enjin community members will embark on the first Enjin Multiverse Quest - The Search for the Shadowsong.
Players will participate in distinct gaming campaigns in three Enjin-powered titles: Lost Relics, The Six Dragons, and Etherscape. All games are free to play in the Epic Games Store.
The top players in each game will win a Shadowsong NFT. Players covet the Shadowsong for its low-supply, rarity and powerful effects within Enjin Ecosystem games.
The Shadowsong NFT belongs to “The Multiverse” NFT Collection, the only NFT collection in the world to get support and integration in a dozen or more games.
This is the start of a multi-month campaign that awards top players with the highly coveted Enjin Multiverse NFTs.
Learn more about the Gaming Multiverse and Quests below.
The Enjin Multiverse is a game network that integrates and supports shared in-game items. These cross-game items connect separate gaming universes within the Enjin Blockchain.
The The Multiverse NFT Collection brings this Multiverse to life and acts as the shared in-game items within the Enjin Ecosystem.
The sixteen-item collection includes a staff (Shadowsong), sword (Epochrome Sword), shield (Stormwall), and gun (APG-M55), among other items.
Developers integrate the Multiverse Collection according to the design and gameplay appropriate for each game.
Imagine the Shadowsong, a magical staff with a gem infused with a dragon’s soul.
In a role-playing game, the staff acts as a devastating magic weapon. While in a racing game, it serves as a speed enhancement. In an MMORPG, it’s imbued with a magical flame, causing fire damage to undead enemies. In a first-person shooter, the same staff is equipped as a cosmetic, allowing players to flex its design to opponents and allies alike.
The Multiverse Quests are gaming campaigns where players can earn rare Multiverse NFTs. The Quests run for two weeks each month, lasting until mid-2025. Players must determine which participating game to play during the Quest period to secure a prize.
For the Search for the Shadowsong, the participating games and campaigns are as follows:
The Quests have been designed with two-week breaks in between to allow players to use their Multiverse prizes across other games.
For example, a player may have devoted most of his/her hours to Etherscape during the Shadowsong Quest to win a prize. While waiting for the Tramyarus Quest in November, they can use their Multiverse item in another game to experience its utility.
Note that succeeding Quests may feature a different set of games.
Enjin gamers must hold the Multiverse NFT in their Enjin Wallet app and connect to the game with the address containing the digital asset. From there, they use the item according to the game’s design.
The collection boasts 77 forms of utility across 12 participating games.
Here’s what’s in store for Shadowsong NFT holders:
Lost Relics
An indestructible item within the game. The Shadowsong fires a magic spell, dealing 205 damage to enemies.
The Six Dragons (TSD)
The staff is a primary weapon equipped in the game. When your HP (health points) drop below 30%, you gain a chance at a stats buff for Intelligence, Accuracy, and Evasion.
Etherscape
The Shadowong grants a passive benefit that reduces the gold and material cost to enchant. Enchanting is a key feature within Etherscape, where players can improve an item’s stats.
