JumpNet Enjin (JENJ) is a private version of ENJ which operates on JumpNet, a private (PoA) method of consensus blockchain that allows instant and gasless transactions on-chain.
By moving Enjin Coin (ENJ) from Ethereum to JumpNet, you will be able to do the following without any transaction fees:
- Send and receive ENJ and ERC-1155 tokens
- Mint ERC-1155 tokens via the Enjin Platform
- Trade ERC-1155 tokens on the Enjin Marketplace
- Distribute ENJ and ERC-1155 tokens via QR codes
- Automatically distribute ERC-1155 tokens from your app or game
Converting ENJ to JumpNet (JENJ)
In order to convert your ENJ to JENJ, you will need a bit of Ethereum (ETH) for the initial transfer, as well as the ENJ that you wish to migrate over.
Once you have ETH and ENJ in your wallet, you will be able to begin migrating over ENJ to JumpNet.
On the Enjin Wallet main screen, tap on the ENJ token. This will bring up your balance and transaction history.
Tap on the 3-dot menu in the top right corner of your screen and select the option "Move to JENJ" option.
From here, you will see your current ENJ balance. Enter the amount of ENJ that you wish to migrate over to JumpNet.
Note: This part of the process will require ETH for the transaction. Please ensure you have enough ETH to complete the migration.
Tap "Next Step" to complete the migration.
You can keep track of your JumpNet transactions in the transaction history page.
Once the transaction has successfully executed on the Ethereum network, your JENJ balance will automatically update, and you will see the amount you have transferred over.
Note: You may need to add the JumpNet token to your wallet. To do this, simply tap on the 3-dot menu on your main wallet screen, and tap on "Auto-Add Tokens." Select JENJ, and you will be able to see your JENJ balance and the transaction history.
Converting JENJ Back to ENJ
The process of converting your JENJ back to ENJ is the same flow.
Select JENJ token in your wallet, and tap the "Move to ENJ" button.
Specify the amount of JENJ you want to convert to ENJ. Once done, tap on the "Next Step" button.
Note: This step in the process does not require ETH for the transaction.
Once the transaction has successfully executed, your JENJ will have been migrated over to Ethereum. In order to update your balance accordingly and receive the ENJ you migrated, you will need to claim it.
Select the ENJ token in your main wallet. Tap on the "Claim xx ENJ" button in order to claim the ENJ that you have migrated from JumpNet. Select the fee you wish to send your transaction with, and tap on button "Claim ENJ" at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Note: This process for claiming your ENJ will require ETH for the transaction.
Once your transaction has successfully executed, your ENJ balance will update in the wallet, and you will have successfully claimed the ENJ that you've migrated from the JumpNet network.
