Please note of the following:
- Your funds are safe;
- Only the DApp Browser, the Marketplace link and the exchange has been removed;
- All versions are affected on iOS.
- Android users are unaffected.
Unfortunately, Enjin Wallet users on iOS devices will be unable to use the DApp Browser and the Exchange functionality due to a series of policy changes with the App Store. The removal of the DApp Browser, marketplace link and the exchange functionality is required to comply with Apple's latest App Store changes and guidelines.
We are here to continue offering frequent updates and services to the Enjin Wallet on iOS.
Why is the DApp Browser and Exchange removed on the Enjin Wallet for iOS devices?
Unfortunately, the DApp Browser and Exchange has been removed on iOS. This was required in order to comply with Apple's updates and policy changes, and to continue the future development of the Enjin Wallet for our iOS users. We've been working with Apple to work out a resolution to combat this.
What should I do if I have tokens in DApps?
All your tokens and assets are safe. The Enjin Wallet is a Hierarchical Deterministic (HD) Wallet, meaning the Enjin Wallet only acts as a gateway to access your funds. Your tokens are not directly stored by Enjin and we do not hold them.
If you have your Recovery Phrase (your essential 12-words) of your generated wallet(s), your funds are safe and you have full control over them.
As an interim solution on how to continue using DApps with the Enjin Wallet on iOS, we recommend trying out the following:
- You may want to import your wallet on an Android device. If you have an Android device, you can simply import your wallet using your Recovery Phrase (your essential 12-words) and begin using the DApp browser on there.
