Microsoft Veteran Joins Enjin to Lead Enterprise Expansion

Enjin announced today that Alex Solomon has joined the company as Executive Director of Enterprise Platforms. Alex joins Enjin from Microsoft, where he spent more than 20 years in numerous leadership roles, from marketing operations to partner and product marketing. He most recently led the Azure Direct business for Microsoft’s Western Europe HQ team and will spearhead Enjin’s expansion in the enterprise space, working with corporate clients on blockchain initiatives.

His most recent success, Alex conceptualized Microsoft’s “Azure Heroes,” a first-to-market, blockchain-based digital badge recognition program that rewards meaningful impact in the technical community, encouraging inclusive behavior and inspiring developers to build on Azure.

He contracted Enjin to develop the underlying technology of the pilot program, which has grown into an established global initiative. Since launching in 2019, over 6,200 badges have been distributed to the Azure community via nominations, conferences, and events.

“I’ve been fortunate to have had the challenges and experience of a lifetime working for Microsoft in the US, Asia Pacific, and Europe,” said Solomon. “The opportunity to join Enjin’s leadership team to help develop and build the company’s vision for enterprise was a compelling and natural jump, offering me a new set of challenges to take on.”

As the head of Enjin’s Enterprise arm, Alex will work with organizations looking to create next-generation digital experiences that improve customer retention, acquisition, and engagement. The goal is to offer a full-service stack that enables businesses to quickly create powerful token projects through a template-driven experience.

With an upcoming private beta, the Enterprise program will initially accept a group of select clients who have expressed an early interest in participating, with plans to make the technology stack accessible to a wider scope of clients over time.
