The GC Powerlist is the world’s most prestigious recognition for company lawyers. In Southeast Asia, Enjin joins the APAC teams of tech companies Microsoft, Google and Airbnb and regional tech unicorns Grab, GoTo (Gojek/Tokopedia) and Lazada. Enjin was the only Singapore-based global blockchain team recognized, joined by Coins.ph from the Philippines.
The GC Powerlist is a mainstream and not tech-focused recognition. The list includes the region’s leading conglomerates, banks, telecoms, and F&B companies.
The team’s addition to the GC Powerlist emphasizes the Enjin ecosystem’s adherence to regulatory compliance and legal innovation. The team was recognized for leading commercial partnerships and tech integrations, often working alongside blockchain developers and digital marketers. The team uses the same UX design and project management software as developers, and manages others such as enterprise grade blockchain accounting and tracking software. The team was also recognized for being extremely cost efficient, doing substantial work in-house and managing global work directly instead of appointing international legal counsel.
Oscar Franklin Tan, CFA (Chief Financial Officer and Chief Legal Officer) previously advised Enjin since 2018 while in a leading international law firm.
