How the Multiverse Brotherhood Built a Cross-Game Crafting Economy on Enjin
Every sword has a second life.

That's the premise behind The Forge, a cross-game crafting hub built by the Multiverse Brotherhood (MvB)—the first-ever Enjin Multiverse Gaming Guild, active in the ecosystem since Enjin Coin launched in late 2017.

The idea is simple in practice: the NFTs players earn across Enjin-powered games don't have to sit idle in a wallet. They can be brought to The Forge, broken down into raw materials, and crafted into something new: a guild tag, a collectible, a piece of gear with real utility across the games players already love. Items flow in, crafted NFTs flow out, and everyone who participates goes back into the games with a reason to keep playing.

That loop is what The Forge is built around. And it runs entirely on Enjin.

The Spark That Ties It Together

Sparks are the currency that keeps The Forge's economy in motion. Players earn them across integrated Enjin-powered games, spend them at The Forge on crafting operations and services, and the value flows through the entire network.

For players who are missing a specific crafting ingredient and don't want to buy it on the marketplace, the answer is simple: go play more. Earn it through gameplay, bring it back, and forge what you need. Time spent in-game is a valid path forward.

For games that integrate with The Forge, Sparks work as a player acquisition tool. MvB distributes Sparks to partner games to reward their players, a tangible incentive that pulls in players specifically looking for games where they can earn and spend. When MvB or Enjin Multiverse items are craftable at The Forge and carry utility in a specific game, the players who craft those items have a natural reason to try that game. Cross-pollination happens without anyone forcing it.

No Loot Left Behind

The Forge is, at its core, an item sink.

Not every NFT that drops in a game is destined to be a prized collectible. Not every drop gets a second look. The Forge turns that into an advantage: items that didn't have a major purpose can now serve as raw materials in crafting recipes, giving them renewed demand and a reason to be collected in the first place.

For games, this means players who might have ignored certain drops now have a reason to pursue them. For players, it means a path to the items they actually want without mandatory spending.

Beyond the item loop, The Forge also runs a progression system called Brotherhood Glory. A player's dedication to the ecosystem is permanently recorded on-chain and recognized across every integrated game. Quests, achievements, and advancement reward genuine participation rather than wallet size.

Made Possible by Enjin

What The Forge needs is exactly what Enjin provides: shared NFT standards that mean items minted in one game can be read and used in another, low transaction costs that make frequent crafting operations practical, and the Enjin Multiverse collection that has always served as the connective tissue between games.

The Enjin Platform API handles the rest. Reading player inventories, minting crafted items, burning source tokens, all of it is straightforward API work, without smart contract expertise or deep blockchain engineering. A new game can plug into The Forge's shared economy in days, not months. That low barrier is what makes the network effect real: every new integration makes the whole system more valuable for everyone already in it.

An Open System

The Multiverse Brotherhood's mission hasn't changed since 2017: help Enjin-powered games succeed. The Forge is live and running with partners including The Etherscape and Into The Multiverse, with more integrations in development.

Every Enjin-powered game is invited. Join a shared economy that gets stronger with every new game.
