A month ago, the Enjin team proudly released the new android version of the Enjin Wallet. After nonstop preparations and continuous building, we are thrilled to announce the release of Enjin Wallet 2.0 on iOS!
To give a head start, the Enjin Support team developed these FAQs to help the community of iOS users experience a seamless transition from the old to the new version of the Enjin Wallet.
YES. While the Enjin team has ensured a smooth process to transition iOS users to the new Enjin Wallet, it is strongly recommended to ensure all of your wallets’ seed phrases are secured. Check out this guide if you need help with backing up your wallet. You may have also noticed a notification banner on your Enjin Wallet as a reminder to back up your wallet now.
Once the new version is released, an “Update Available” button will appear on your main wallet screen (note that the actual update may vary depending on the user’s app update settings on their device). After a week, all remaining users who have not migrated will be updated to the new Enjin Wallet app. We strongly advise backing up all wallets before the transition.
Only English, Filipino, Romanian, and Japanese are currently supported by the Enjin Wallet 2.0. We're working on adding more languages to make using your wallet easier!
Yes. The features and capabilities of the Enjin Wallet may vary depending on device type, geographic location, and compliance with app store guidelines and regulatory requirements. Please refer to the Enjin Wallet support documentation here for a detailed comparison.
Yes! Once migrated to the new Enjin Wallet, you may visit enjin.io/products/wallet and scan the QR to redeem your very first Efinity NFT! If you have claimed this already via the Enjin Web Wallet, feel free to migrate your web wallet address over to your Enjin Wallet app.
Things to ask yourself: Which blockchain is it a part of? Do you have this blockchain on your list of wallets?
If you're looking for JumpNet NFTs, for instance, it's advisable to see if the JumpNet blockchain has already been added to your wallet. Check this guide out if necessary: Adding a Blockchain / Addresses.
If you are certain you have previously added JumpNet to your wallet, you might only need to make a quick adjustment on the “Collectibles” tab. Are you on the right network? Here’s how you can switch: How to change networks when viewing collectibles.
We recommend checking your device’s iOS version and ensure that it is not lower than iOS 15 as you may have trouble loading the app on the older versions.
That’s it for now! The team will make sure to update this FAQ accordingly.
