"It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single dungeon in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of an adventurer."
The small town of Talmuth may look peaceful and placid on the surface, but take a few steps below ground, and you're cast into a dimly-lit world of dungeons, caves, and catacombs.
Deep within this hack-and-slash dungeon crawler, you will find dangerous beasts, monsters, and ghouls the townsfolk tremble before—and most importantly, valuable artifacts that have been hidden, stolen, or simply forgotten long ago.
Existing across a variety of rarity tiers offering unique benefits, these artifacts are the key to progression through deeper dungeons and defeating tougher enemies.
Instead of a class system or skill trees, Lost Relics uses your equipment to alter your abilities and stats. Choose wisely before heading into one of over 4 billion possible dungeons—any loot you pick up will only be yours to keep if you finish your run in one piece.
If you fall during your run, you'll lose everything, so don't bite off more than you can chew. When you're stumbling in the darkness of a dingy dungeon, you have to walk before you can run.
Need to power up further? Advanced enchanting can improve the stats and abilities of your weapons, with blockchain providing a public record of the full enchantment history, allowing you to tackle more dangerous dungeons and increasingly vicious foes.
There's more to Lost Relics gameplay than grabbing OP loot and slashing anything that moves, though.
The residents of Talmuth provide quests; limited-time events can require specific acts of cooperation; certain items can impact the lore of the game; and encounters provide challenging foes for the most confident adventurers in search of gold and glory.
A wide variety of collaborations with other games and platforms across the Enjin Multiverse already exists, allowing Lost Relics players to use items earned in other games to help them progress through the dungeons.
Fortune favors the brave.
